The World Didn’t Need Another T-Shirt Brand. So We Made One.
Let’s get one thing straight. The world doesn’t need another T-shirt brand. There are already enough of them to clothe humanity twice over, including that one guy who insists on wearing a blazer over a graphic tee and calling it business casual.
Yet, here we are. Welcome to EkDoTee.
It started with a fairly simple observation. Somewhere between Hustle Hard, Good Vibes Only, and Believe in Yourself, T-shirts became motivational speakers. Every other piece of clothing was trying to inspire me, empower me, or remind me that I was born to win. Mate, I’m just stepping out for groceries. I don’t need a TED Talk on my chest.
Then there’s the fascinating world of fashion brands. Everyone is disrupting something, redefining something, or building a community around something. Apparently, selling a decent T-shirt is no longer enough. You need a philosophy, a manifesto, and a founder photographed in black and white, looking like he’s just discovered the meaning of life.
We considered all that. Then decided we’d rather make T-shirts.
EkDoTee is our little rebellion against boring clothes and people who take themselves far too seriously. We like sarcasm, pop culture, questionable humour, and the wonderfully absurd contradictions of being Indian. We believe a T-shirt can have an opinion without becoming a political debate, make a statement without preaching, and occasionally offend an uncle at a family gathering. Nothing personal, uncle.
Are we trying to revolutionise fashion? Absolutely not. Are we building a movement? God, no. We’re simply putting thoughts on fabric. Some clever, some ridiculous, and some that probably should have stayed inside our heads.
Will everyone like our designs? Unlikely. And that’s perfectly fine. The last thing the world needs is another brand desperately trying to please everyone. We make what makes us laugh, what makes us think, and what we’d actually want to wear.
So that’s EkDoTee. A clothing brand born out of an unhealthy relationship with sarcasm and a perfectly healthy dislike for boring T-shirts.
Life is already full of serious things. Deadlines, Mondays, unsolicited advice, and people who reply to emails with “Gentle reminder.”
Your clothes don’t have to be one of them.
Welcome to EkDoTee. We make T-shirts. You bring the personality.
And if you don’t have one, well, we can only do so much.

P.S. This was technically a sales pitch. We just had the decency to make it entertaining.
